Day 1 on the cruise ship

Scheduled arrival 3:05pm.

Latest ship check in 5:00pm.

Ride from airport to cruise ship 15-20 minutes.

However, snow storm at yyz airport. Departure was delayed over 2 hours .

Sitting on plane was like racing against the time.

Arrival at 4:05, got a taxi in 10 minutes ($26) arrived at cruise terminal at 4:40

Last ones to board the ship, registration no waiting .

Actually on the ship 4:45 wow!

Day 2 La Romana Dominica Republic

We went out to the city on foot. We visited a local supermarket Jumbo and on the way back mom wanted to visit the local city center too.

She got the map on her cellphone and showing everyone and asked for directions. Until we came to a place a younger policewoman approached us. I thought she is speaking English and wanted to help. However, still only Spanish, no going at some directions. Mentioned something “cellular “, until I put the cell to the pocket she’s relieved. She didn’t want mom to show her cell to everyone and lost her phone…

Mom is so adventurous on new places.

Later on we walked back to the cruise ship terminal. No more surprises.
